This book contains comprehensive black and white line drawings of costume through the ages. It is useful as a reference book but is not as engaging as some of the other books on costume which include some colour illustrations or have more white space around the drawings.

This is a useful and well researched book but if I had to pick my top 10 books on costume this wouldn't be one of them/5(28).
